Lightning Labs GmbH(hereinafter also “us” or Lightning Labs) protects the privacy of any personal data that you (hereinafter also “Customer”) may choose to provide to us ("Personal Data"). Personal Data is any information that allows you to be identified and which you may wish to provide to us or that is collected about you. We will take measures to ensure that use of your Personal Data is compliant with data protection and privacy regulations which are in force in the countries where we operate. This Privacy Policy applies to the Personal Data we collect when you use our casino or when you otherwise interact with us.

What personal data Lightning Labs collects and uses ?

Lightning Labs GmbH may process the following data: copy of an identity document, contact details (phone number and email address), Personal Data submitted by you upon addressing Lightning Labs, information about your usage of Lightning Labs’ services, and other information that might be needed to fulfil the purposes explained below (including KYC reasons).

The customer’s Personal Data is collected and used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or in relation to other cases connected to the offer of our services of which the Customer shall be notified. For example, we use Personal Data:

  • To provide the Customer with our services. The legal basis for the processing of Personal Data is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party;
  • To process any of the Customer’s requests for information. The legal basis is either the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or our legitimate interest;
  • Setting up and managing the Customer’s relationship and account. The legal basis is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party;
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory requirements (i.e. anti-money laundering, prevention of terrorist financing or fraud regulations). The legal basis is the performance of a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
  • For the purpose of security and control. The legal basis is our legitimate interest;
  • To notify the Customer about updates to our software or services. The legal basis is either the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or our legitimate interest.

In addition to the above:

Other online communications: Any online communications (including e-mails) you have with us, will be recorded and monitored for quality control purposes, to protect or represent us in the event of a legal dispute or for staff training. This information will be processed and maintained in line with this Privacy Policy

We may receive, send or disclose Customer Personal Data to third party service providers (for example KYC service providers) in compliance with valid data protection legislation. If we transfer Personal Data outside the European Economic Area, then this will be done in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.

These third parties are always bound by a confidentiality agreement and are obliged to follow data protection rules.

We may disclose Customer’s Personal Data to government institutions if it is required by law.

How do we store data ?

We primarily store and process personal data within the European Union. Nevertheless, it may be necessary that your personal data is transferred to and stored outside the European Union. We will take all necessary precautions to ensure that your personal Data is treated securely and in accordance with the applicable Data Protection Laws.

Your rights as the data subject?

The Customer has the right to modify and correct Customer’s Personal Data at any time and you are therefore responsible for the accuracy of your Personal Data.

The Customer has the right to ask about his/her Personal Data from Lightning Labs, the right to data portability and also the right to request Lightning Labs to restrict the processing of his/her Personal Data and/or to delete it in case obligation to retain the data is not set out by the law.

The Customer has the right to withdraw his/her consent to Personal Data processing at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.The Customer has the right to object to processing of his/her Personal Data.  

The Customer has the right to submit a claim regarding Personal Data processing.

Deleting the personal data:

Personal Data will be kept as long as the data is needed to provide the services or as long as the law requires. The Customer has the right to ask for the Personal Data to be deleted, however, in some cases Lightning Labs may refuse to delete the data due to requirements stipulated in the law.

In case the Customer has questions about the way Lightning Labs processes his/her Personal Data, the Customer can contact us via email at support@bombaywallet.com. Should the aim of processing of Personal Data change, we will inform the Customer as soon as possible. Should there be a need for a consent from the Customer, we will require that from you accordingly.

We use all sorts of precautionary measures to protect our Customers’ Personal Information. Only authorized personnel have access to data processing and editing

We reserve the right to make changes to the terms of this Privacy Policy, if necessary.

We may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time and it is advised that you review the Privacy Policy periodically to check for changes.
